With host, Jimmy Gerwald

Jimmy has spent considerable time in his adult life studying health related issues from psychology to nutrition. A lot of his travels took him to both coasts and a lot places in between, eventually settling here Tulsa.
During his stay on the West Coast, Jimmy spent time studying the Native American tribal culture in the Pacific Northwest including the Coast Salish, Nootka, Kwakiutl, Bella-Coola, Haida, Tsimshian, and Tlingit. Part of those studies included the mystery of shamanism and Native American traditions along with diet.
Also, yoga and exercise has played an important part in his life studying “Restorative Athletic Flow” with Kirk Slobody and Janie Tiede in Seattle…”no incense, no chanting and no nonsense”, and with Meghan Donnelly at Inner Peace Yoga here in Tulsa. To add to his experience, Jimmy spent time in Los Angeles studying the benefits of meditation with Mark Griffin. So he understands the benefits of sound mind and body.
Jimmy has also attended seminars with renowned Jungian psychologist James Hollis from Houston learning more how our psychological path can greatly affect on our health and well-being.
“I believe there are benefits to both traditional forms of medicine natural forms and that’s where you have to find the balance” says Jimmy. “That's why I’m looking forward to hosting LiveWellTulsa.com, to inform listeners of the rich resources we have in the Tulsa metro that will help all of us “Live Well” and healthy”.
